WHERE WOULD BE YOUR DREAM VACATION?
In this festive season people are really
excited to tour the outside world (you may be, too) but you may be confused of
where to go as your destination may vary from place to place this is because
every place has its own unique specialty.
The best, in Kenya, are:
i.
Tsavo National
Parks
Tsavo is made up of two separate parks, Tsavo East National
Park and Tsavo West National Park. Located in Coast Province of Kenya in
between Nairobi City and Mombasa.
Tsavo is nearly 22,000km2, being the largest national park
in Kenya and one of the largest in the world. The park was split into two due
to the railway going from Mombasa to the interior of Kenya.
Accommodation: There are plenty of places to stay in the two
parks. These range greatly and most of them have a water hole close to the
property making game viewing easier.
ii.
Lake Nakuru National Park
Lake Nakuru is one of the Rift Valley soda lakes at an elevation of 1754 m above
sea level. It lies to the south of Nakuru, in the rift valley of Kenya and is
protected by Lake Nakuru National
Park. The lake's abundance of algae used to attract a vast quantity of flamingos that famously lined the shore. Other birds also flourish in the area, as do warthogs, baboons and other large mammals. Eastern black rhinos and southern white rhinos have also been introduced.
The lake's level dropped dramatically in the early 1990s but has since largely recovered. In 2013, the lake received an alarming increase in the water levels that led to the migration of flamingos to Lake Bogoria in search for food supply.
Nakuru means "Dust or Dusty Place" in the Maasai language. Lake Nakuru National Park, close to Nakuru town, was established in 1961. It started off small, only encompassing the famous lake and the surrounding mountainous vicinity, but has since been extended to include a large part of the savannahs.
iii.
Rusinga
island
A place of infinite beauty to calm the mind and rejuvenate the body,
Rusinga provides a welcome break before, during or after a rigorous and
exciting East African safari. Exuding an atmosphere of serene tranquility,
Rusinga's manicured lawns stretch to Lake Victoria's edge.
Rusinga's grounds, with its exotic trees, are haven for a myriad of
bird species - many of which are unique to this small corner of Kenya. These
spacious grounds offer a safe environment for children to release energy and
the more active to catch up on exercise.
Rusinga's renowned hospitality; delicious home-grown, home-cooked food;
and indulgent accommodation combine to offer an ideal base from which to
explore other areas of East Africa.
This
destinations are enough for this holiday.
Enjoy your CHRISTMAS AND a FANTASTIC NEW YEAR!
