RESIDENTIAL HOME FOR TROUBLED TEENAGERS

RESIDENTIAL HOME FOR TROUBLED TEENAGERS

Opening residential homes for "homeless" teenagers is a great step taken towards humanity. Giving shelter to the homeless is a great deed sown. These people are the ones who will make up the future.

It is very critical to counsel these young teenagers so that they are able to follow the correct routes in life and abide by the moral values and principles. Moreover, they are educated so that they can become independent and help to raise the country's economy. Furthermore, they actively participate in these activities aimed at serving the community. These young people may have some talents, of which they may not be aware themselves, but through this, they can discover their hidden talents. There are many problems teenagers face which we may consider petty, but they have drastic effects on their lives. For instance, peer pressure may lower their self-confidence and taking drugs may end up making them slaves of these drugs. These young people are trained for the future through the medium of work experience placements, thereby making them well-prepared to pursue their future careers.

However, many people view this as something irrelevant to do. Many shopkeepers are afraid that these teenagers may shoplift their valuable goods. Others believe that only the teenagers involved will benefit from such an arrangement. Most parents think that they may have bad impacts on their children because of their bad behaviour.

Conversely, it is very important to understand the mental pain and stress these teenagers are going through. They are under counselling and so are expected to improve in their behaviour and approach to certain issues. Furthermore, a programme of supervised activities for residents and day visitors is also organised.

To conclude, it is of great essence to help these young teenagers who are burdened by the world around them. It is vital to pull them out of their mental suffering and push them towards a better living and a positive environment for their own benefit.
