STANDING UP FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN!

STANDING UP FOR WHAT
YOU BELIEVE IN!
Everyone has their own beliefs, either related to religion, superstition and so on. But do they really make an effort to support and emphasise on what they believe in to convince others to believe in the same? Beliefs are not always true, and no one has proved till date all beliefs are false! Belief is the state of mind in which a person takes something to be the case, with or without there being empirical evidence to prove that something is the case with factual probability.
   Everyone should have the full courage to be able to support their beliefs and one of the examples of a person who did this is our very own ‘Nelson Mandela’.
We all know people who are very adamant and vocal about sharing their beliefs; whenever you meet them in person, topics generally go straight to those causes, and if you are even remotely argumentative, you will spend the whole evening having a debate.
Some situations for which I think you need to support your beliefs are: When you can set an example, When the other person is on the fence about an issue, When you know the other party will be respectful even if they disagree, When you know you’ll feel guilty if you stay silent, When you’ve reached the point of ‘enough is enough’ and many other precise reasons.
I would like to conclude by quoting;
‘Your beliefs become your thoughts,
Your thoughts become your words,
Your words become your actions,
Your actions become your habits,
Your habits become your values,
Your values become your destiny’
So be kin, and follow what your heart says is the right path...
