OUR SCHOOL

Melvin Jones Lions Academy has two wings;

Junior school—this wing nurtures the academic and social growth of its children, whilst enriching them with values which emphasises community and responsibility. The school is a caring environment in which the children feel safe and happy. The school has a strong reputation for success, from academic excellence to high accomplishment in music, drama,sports and adventure. We foster within our pupils a sense of personal responsibility,service to the community and leadership, underpinned by pastoral ethos which places the well-being of the pupils at heart of all we do. A Melvin pupil is rounded and grounded.

 Senior school—this wing aspires to develop the individuality of our students, giving them the confidence and ambition to strive for higher goals. Our students receive a first-class academic, social and cultural experience, provided within a caring and friendly environment. Our excellent results are complemented by a rich array of extra-curricular opportunities, preparing and supporting students to achieve their ambitions.
