SUNSET

SUNSET
The intense yellow fireball finally traversed to its ultimate daily position, whereby its orange hues blended vividly into the merging skyline, just the way orange juice would release itself in a glass of  water  , silhouettes  of birds returning  to shelter  dominated the gorgeous scenery , as their melodic chirps  harmonized with the sinking  sun  which  took away  all our sorrows  and every day burdens.

We could only admire how heaven touched earth, as our wide eyes witnessed the resounding glowing collision.  Sparks lit the sky and darkness started pouring out, as the glory of paradise descended beyond the curvature of the planet. The canvas called sky flooded in hues of orange and red, bright enough to blind our sight and mellow enough to take it all.

Silver stars like the glowing embers of a dying fire winked down at us, vaguely illuminating the curtain of sky. the  sun was  already dipping below  the mountain crests  dimming the sky , although the  daylight  still lingered in the air as if  it  was accidentally left behind.

The sun was a perfect disc, only cut through its diameter by the edge of the world. The brilliant orb of amber   and tangerine sunk lower into the sky, as if being the boundary which pushed the fire towards the unknown. The mauve of the dusky sky intensified, and in just a while, the biggest star had set, giving way to a thousand others.
