LIFE AS A TEENAGER

LIFE AS A TEENAGER
Who is a teenager? Generally a teenager is a young person whose age falls within the range of 13-19 years. They are called teens because their age number ends with "teen".
Most teen's life is filled with stress, dreams etc. Stress can be in form of family issues, friendship and relationship issues e.t.c. Most teens feel as if they have started a new life when they enter this stage. They find it somehow uncomfortable to handle these changes in their lives.
Part of growing up is evidenced by mood swings, and when it comes to listening to parents, here is how it goes. The teens say "I don't need my parents I know everything’’ yet, all this is only in passing. With anticipation, they wait for their 18th birthday. Unknown to them that adult life is not just about getting that car you’d been promised on your birthday, but it is a wakeup call as they are becoming adults.
Once their families start peeling the mask, much is brought to light.  The world suddenly stops pretending, pretending everything is ok. Us teens feel almost the same thing; we feel the conflict between our missing childhood, our protection and for some new life as an adult. However, teenagers are the most misunderstood people on the planet. They are treated like children and expected to act like adults!
We do unexpected things, we say things that don't make sense, but we are actually not mod. We're not problems, we're not far gone. We're growing, we're just teenagers, we're just fighting to stay put, because there is a season for a reason.
In conclusion do you remember the time when we couldn't wait to grow up? Now is the time to prove what you actually wanted and want to do. Just fight and go on with your lives, reach out to your dreams and desires, never give up. Listen to your heart and carry on.
