Hello all, 

Information about stress.

Stress: its a state of mental  strain  resulting from  very demanding circumstances. or is normally the body's way of responding to a demand or threat.

Every one experiences a stressful situation, We must find a way to either manage or control this state of affairs.

Common stressors among the teenagers:

1.    Homework/assignment/test deadlines.
2.    Relationships
3.    Identity crisis.
4.    Lack of money
5.    Parental pressure
6     High expectations pressure.
7.    Peer pressure etc.

Stress does not always have a negative  effect.               if every thing is so smooth , one can get stuck in comfort zones.                               stress can push people to perform under pressure.


Manage stress
- Have support network - interact, talk or share your problems with the people close to you.

-Attitude : Look at stressor as a normal life challenge.

- Confidence : Believe that you can solve the issue or its going to pass with time.

- Prepare: Preparation of any eventuality. Understand that stressors are ever there, prepare the mind , of ways in which you can solve the issue. The parent can train the teenager on the best way to manage some of the common stressors .
