There i lay, next to my beloved one

I have very little time left on this earth,

But there were neither resentment nor regret

I spent my time well with my loved one

I remember it like if it were yesterday

Those days are gone indeed

I remember your blue eyes at the beach

The days of our honeymoon, with pristine vividness

Oh Linda, we had the   world in our palms,

But now look at me, waiting for my time to come

I remember the first time we met, by the local diner

You were gorgeous wearing that red dress

You were the love of my life, and always will be

And as I stare into this dark, never-ending abyss,

I not worry about my self, but you,

It is painful to leave you, but my path is set

Know that I will always be beside you,

And full heartedly hope to see you on the other side

Till then my love, you will always be a part of me.
