1^ST DAY OF SCHOOL

IT was the first day of school and while I expected to get this kind of salute.

I got this kind of salute

And that wasn’t even the first time! The first time I never even saw it coming

I went into class for the first lesson and I bumped into my friend Dem Lad who had moved from Jamaica. We had been friends for the past ten years apparently he had something to say

Dem lad said :  In class there’s dem party goin on in dere!

I got into class and it looked like some sort of party had been going on there because the class was in a complete mess! But I can say our class has changed

But unlike other guys Veejay Davis was sitting in a corner reading the dictionary his mom gave him for his sixth birthday

The only other person who wasn’t playing around is Brad Crommen who is basically the smart guy of the class. First was P.E and in my opinion having P.E first isn’t quite the choice judging from the state of the way we looked As a matter of fact our class boys are so bad at sport that we got thrashed by the class below us. Anyway Mr. Jonnes the P.E teacher is always looking for a friend and today his friend for the day was Veejay Davis and you have to admit they make a good couple.

Next we had History where Mr. Johnson came in and started teaching about 20^TH century history and he went on and on and at the end of the day mom came to pick me up after school and she gave me news I did not want to hear.at first I didn’t believe it but then she gave me an envelope and this is what it said.

Summer camp from where I come from is basically another name for torture camp and I heard that in summer camp you have to start the day at four am.
